Children's Voices Crying Out
From the suburbs to the urban neighborhoods of western Pennsylvania, across our nation up into Canada, to the ruins of New Orleans, voices are calling out across our nation's neighborhoods - the voices of our children. Christian Sports International (CSI) had many opportunities to witness first hand through this year what is happening to our children and wants to share from the heart what these voices are saying. The children look up and down the streets of our nation's neighborhoods for something to do but all that waits for many of them is trouble. This trouble leads to a life that is headed for disaster. The voices you hear have been traumatized from disaster that have occurred in their lives, hurt from abuse they receive at home, beaten verbally, mentally even sexually abused. There are times they do not know when they will eat or where they will lay their head at night. Our children cry out in many ways, wanting someone to love them, care for them, or just have a place they feel is a safe haven. There are many children who are in desperate need of educational help, physical fitness, and being shown the right path by individuals who can make a difference in their lives. Christian Sports International (CSI) believes we can make a difference and turn these lives that are headed for disaster into lives headed into a positive future. The road is not easy but it begins by showing children you care about them, respect them, love them. The way CSI does this is through sports and educational programs that will touch a child's life forever. I hope your heart has spoken to you and you desire to become involved in changing young lives. We need your help more than we have ever needed it before. CSI wants to prepare the way for children so these crooked roads will become straight, the rough ways smooth. Allowing the children we work with to have the chance to become the Best of the Best.
