I’m We Peter Scaccia, and I have over 25 years of experience as an executive. Now, as a consultant, I offer executive business coaching to leaders of businesses of all sizes. The working relationship we develop can evolve over time as I help you stabilize operations in a floundering company, or it can be shorter and more focused on a specific problem or area of concern.

Aspects of Successful Executive Business Coaching

For example, with one of my clients, my focus has been on setting up an organizational structure. I helped him select a management team who would bring the best balance of skills to the workplace, and helped him revamp sales procedures and incentives. A team-based sales incentive plan has helped boost revenue, but has also helped my client feel more secure in that his employees share his goals and vision, and can be trusted to carry it out as representatives of his company.

It is important for an executive to be seen as fair and open. While your leadership must be strong and decisive whenever necessary, you want your employees to consider the environment you foster to be a desirable one where they have freedom to grow and explore their own ideas. I have found that a crucial part of executive business coaching is often working with you as a leader to make sure that you find a balance between authority and openness with your trusted employees.

Holistic executive business coaching is not limited to one-on-one work with the executive–it can also extend to working with the executive and his team. I work with many clients to help stabilize their workforce or to help them help their teams work better together. Sometimes all you need is an objective and unbiased person to help make sure that your employees understand what you are saying and that you understand their concerns–simple communication issues can lead to a large percentage of morale and operations problems. Other times, however, it is best to restructure the way a team works or reports to you. I can help you find innovative ways to do this–approaches that are comfortable for you and beneficial to your company.
