Before founding this portal 15 years ago, I owned and operated three different businesses–one in the medical tech industry, one retail operation, and a restaurant. I started my first business very soon after college, and I learned as I went along. The experience that I gathered over 35 years can now be of use to you.

Sure, there are times when it might be appropriate to bring in a consultant with a specialty in technology, HRIS methods, or finance–but there are more cases when the best business management coaching would not be industry-specific. The problems faced by managers all over the world are actually quite similar, and many leaders are ultimately better served by a management mentor than by someone who comes in to implement a specific program and then leaves immediately thereafter.

I tend to work on concepts in management, which will continue to work for you and adapt with you as your business grows and becomes what you want it to be. Sometimes that means doing targeted work on technology, communication, marketing, scheduling, or HR. Other times it has more to do with organization and with asking questions about your own role in your business and how you would be better able to devote your energies as a manager.
